They said I’d never make it and I believed it as I hid in the back of a coffee shop washing up the dishes at age 13, disappointed that this was the life chosen for me. From an early age, learning had been deep passion of mine, so much so, that I was that nerd who went to homework club after school had finished.
It may appear ironic how the boundaries were pushed to become the first person in my family to attend university, not once but twice. Accomplish the ‘high flying’ international career to then ‘give it up’ along with the ‘riches’ for a humbling life of love and core shattering challenges as I walk and live alongside my partner and his family in developing rural Nicaragua.

But Inbetween the beginning and current end? Well, that is the story of a life and love of tooth. A dental career spanning over 20 years, including international lecturing, developing products and education for renowned global Dental companies. 

For now though, well that story is un written although there are already many jigsaw pieces, I’m just figuring out which piece goes where.
